Juárez's board of directors has decided to prioritize building a high-performance center over a new stadium. According to Alejandra de la Vega, president of the team, they are close to securing a plot of land to start the project. "The first major infrastructure project was going to be the stadium, but we changed the order because we saw that in the immediacy it was more important to make a high-performance center. We are very close to securing a plot of land to make it, where we will really see reflected one of our most important objectives: the formation of professional and youth footballers," she said. Last year, Alejandra de la Vega expressed her desire to build a binational stadium for the border team. That is, their pitch would extend to land in both Mexico and the United States. However, while the proposal for a new building is being concretized in the future, the male and female teams will continue to play at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez, owned by the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez. For now, both teams are undergoing changes for the upcoming Apertura 2026 tournament. Despite the fact that Juárez was eliminated from the regular phase of the Clausura 2026 with 19 points that sent them to the 12th place in the general table, the board of directors trusts in the continuity of coach Pedro Caixinha: "We are very happy with him. […] In the football part by his experience and his trajectory. Changes always cost work, but we are convinced that we have to give time to see those results," said the president. Regarding the rumors about the possible arrival of midfielder Denzell García to Chivas, she denied that there are serious proposals for the young player to conclude his history with Juárez: "It's very early in the market. I've seen that there have been various opinions. Denzell is a great player. He arrived with 16 years in Ciudad Juárez and was formed in our basic forces, but there is no today a conservation or a serious proposal to take him," concluded Alejandra de la Vega.
